Athene
Athene is Mumma to a 4 year old who has been diagnosed with ASD and has suspected ADHD. Athene's approach is to work on self care on both a practical and emotional level to stay resilient. Athene became aware that there is a desperate need to carve out space for healing and rejuvenation for carers in order to show up with more energy, and in a more positive mindframe. Implementing self care and building community gave Athene the powerboost needed to face the challenges ahead.

Louise
Louise is a teacher specialising in SEND for over 25 years. Louise’ knowledge of the system, compassion, and desire to make the schooling experience for children and parents alike a more accessible positive fulfilling and nurturing pathway is commendable. Her passion to educate in, all ways, is an energising force.

Patsy
Patsy is a busy working Mum to twins, running her own business. One of her twins has a diagnosis of ASD, and ADHD and on medication for ADHD. Patsy understands completely the mindset that as parents we are the expert when it comes to our children. Patsy has been advocating for her son through the whole process of getting an EHCP, specialist provision schooling and navigating the NHS for her son's best course of treatment.

Angela
Angela is an ex HLTA (high level teaching assistant) with first hand knowledge of SEN with her 3rd daughter Martha who has Downs Syndrome. Martha in her 20s, has had Angela’s expert support to navigate her pathway beautifully. Angela has the kindest heart and the gentlest of ways but is strong as an ox. She is a fierce SENmumma.

Anna
Anna is Mum to a gorgeous boy whose diagnosis is autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, sleep difficulties, asthma and he will begin the ADHD pathway for diagnosis after he turns 5. Anna was told that her son would not be able to achieve very much due to his developmental delay but Anna has proven the professionals wrong and he currently knows 36 signs, he knows all his shapes and colours, and has begun speaking in two word sentences!! Go M, GO ANNA!

Cherelle
Cherelle is a busy working Mum with her own business, to two boys. Her eldest, 9 year old, has a diagnosis of ASD with emotional behavioural dysfunction, he’s also dyslexic and has dyspraxia. He’s currently in the process of getting his EHCP and beginning the ADHD assessment. He is verbal and is thriving at school with an amazing imagination for storytelling.

Christine is the archetype SENmumma. We are a fierce breed are we not? And none more so than Christine who avidly consumes information, and relentlessly completes relevant courses, not only to better the situation for her own son, who has a diagnosis of ASD and ARFID, but to help those other parents around her to access information more easily.

Lisa
Lisa is a Mumma to a 5 year old with an ASD diagnosis and suspected ADHD. Lisa also received her own ADHD diagnosis while on this journey with her son. For her day job, Lisa is a certified ACC/ICF transformative coach, now specialising in supporting women with ADHD. She is passionate about helping women self-advocate for their own needs and the needs of their families.

Victoria
Victoria is SENmumma to three beautiful children with an eldest boy of 10 and girl/boy twins of 7. Victoria has a degree in Education and voraciously pursues knowledge, completing multiple courses both in positive parenting and understanding autism. Her eldest has epilepsy and is currently in the Barnardo’s pathway for an ASD diagnosis. Her youngest son received an early ASD diagnosis aged 3. Victoria has an intimate understanding of the deficits in the mainstream schooling system and works tirelessly to help support and educate the education providers in how to best support her children in school.
